When Royal Mail claimed they had dropped off my package with a ghost signature, David jumped right in to help. He sent me a speedy replacement, and I gotta say, this company is a solid 10/10, 5 stars! They’ll definitely be my first choice for any future hifi stuff! Awesome! :)

Despite a hold-up that was beyond Vickers' control, I want to give a shoutout to David for an awesome deal. I'm really happy with how everything's set up now. It's a friendly and helpful spot to shop. I'm quite impressed and truly grateful.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to David at Vickers HiFi for his exceptional service. He was super helpful with my order of two Cyrus Mono X 300 Signature power amps (mono blocks). The enhancement over standard power amplifiers is just mind-blowing.

David also recommended that since I already owned a Cyrus Pre-XR, I could upgrade the case to Phantom black for a small fee to match my new setup. I’m really glad I went for it; it looks and sounds fantastic! He also suggested swapping out a cheaper XLR for the Chord XLR Signature Tuned Array. I’m so pleased I took that advice; it has added incredible clarity to my system. Sure, it’s pricey, but totally worth it.

In summary, a big thank you for the excellent service and professional guidance. I highly recommend them and hope to come back someday.

I spotted a product listed on eBay, reached out to them directly, and inquired about how they preferred me to complete my purchase. They suggested their website, which seemed like a win-win for both sides. My Arcam Musicboost for the iPhone 6/6s arrived just a few days later. What a steal, and the product is fantastic! The DAC really elevates the music from the iPhone. It's a pity this item isn't available for other iPhone models, especially since it was originally priced at £129 and I snagged it for under £30. I've popped into Vickers a bunch of times over the past few years to check out what my next HiFi upgrade could be, listened to some speakers, and had some good chats with David where I picked up a few tips. The lockdown put a stop to those visits, but I ended up ordering an amplifier online, which showed up super fast and in perfect condition - top-notch service.

A few months later, I thought it was time to look for new speakers to pair with the amp, so I called and set up a time to check out the new JBL L52s. We got there right on time and had a fantastic hour listening (using the same amp) to the JBLs, checking out some other options, and chatting about music and HiFi. The demo was fantastic, and we really liked the JBLs, so we went ahead and bought them. They're performing wonderfully as I write this. Overall, a really enjoyable and successful experience - big thanks!

The whole process was super smooth. David really knew his stuff about the item I was buying - quite impressive considering the huge selection they offer. The price was quite reasonable, and it covered courier delivery that showed up right on schedule. I'm thrilled with the speakers, so everything's great!

I purchased a Marantz CD12/DA12 through their Ebay ad. It was promoted as a "Rare, 1 in 100 player in excellent condition." They promised it would be packed properly. The image of what I received is posted on Google review. They handled it like it was just a bunch of potatoes. A 28KG rare vintage player arrived in a flimsy box with no protection, and the box was already tearing apart when it got to me. The player got scratched by its own plug and the drawer won’t open. Not surprising, considering there was absolutely no impact protection. Both the player and I were treated with utter disregard.

I went to their shop only to discover it was closed. Their website encourages folks to come by, but it didn’t mention anything about being shut. They later replied to my review, claiming they operate by appointment, but there was no info on the site or outside the locked-up store to indicate that. What a pointless 30-mile trip.

Top-notch assistance. Initially, I was a little puzzled by their site since I couldn't find an 'add to cart' button for the product I was after. I shot them an email and got a call from Mr. Vickers himself. He sorted everything out over the phone, and I got quick (free) delivery through DHL. Totally recommend!

I got myself a QUAD streaming setup and some speakers. They helped me out at each step. This online hi-fi shop is great; they’re always up for a chat on the phone instead of just handling everything through the web... you know, that personal touch?
